Notice of the KIA 4th Regular General Assembly


The 4th Regular General Assembly of the Konso Intellectual Association (KIA) will be held on August 28–29, 2026 (Nehase 22–23, 2018 E.C.) for two consecutive days in Karat Town, Konso Zone, Ethiopia.


Accordingly, we respectfully invite all members of our Association, both in Ethiopia and abroad, to make the necessary preparations to attend the General Assembly.


In accordance with the Association's Bylaws, only active members who have paid their 2018 E.C. annual membership dues will be eligible to vote on matters brought before the General Assembly.


Members who have not yet paid their annual membership dues are kindly requested to do so before the General Assembly by depositing the payment into the Association's Commercial Bank of Ethiopia account:

Completing your payment before the Assembly will ensure your full participation, including your right to vote on the Association's decisions.


Members who have already paid their annual dues are reminded that they are entitled to participate in the General Assembly without any additional invitation. We therefore encourage all eligible members to make the necessary arrangements to attend.


The exact venue, detailed agenda, and other relevant information will be announced in due course.
