We have received information from Professor Christopher R. Hallpike's daughter regarding his funeral arrangements.

The funeral will take place on Friday, 31 July, at 1:00 PM GMT (4:00 PM East Africa Time). Those who are able are warmly invited to attend and pay their final respects.

For those who are unable to attend in person, the livestream details will be shared as soon as they become available.

Professor Hallpike's remarkable scholarship and his deep respect and affection for the Konso people have left a lasting legacy that will always be remembered with gratitude.

The Konso Intellectual Association (KIA) extends its heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.
